Sing unto him a new song;
play skillfully, and shout for joy.
Psalm 33:3
What better way to start your Sunday than singing our Lord’s praises?! Singing with the Church-in-the-Gardens Choir is a wonderful way to share your God-given musical talents. The choir sings a wide variety of music, from spirituals to contemporary anthems and classics.
Normally the choir sings at 10 a.m. on the first Sunday of every month (Communion Sunday), and other special occasions. Rehearsals are every Sunday from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and before performances from 9:00 to 9:30 a.m., September through June. During the summer, the choir goes on break. Members also have the opportunity to sing with the CITG Praise Band throughout the year.
New members are welcome to join at any time. For more information, please get in touch with Music Director Dr. Sunny Knable by approaching him after service, or contact the church’s office by calling 718-268-6704.
