Annual Meeting, Sunday, May 20th More info ►

Sunday, May 20, 2018, 11:15 AM - 12:15 PM

We will gather as a congregation to conduct the business of the church at the Annual Meeting on Sunday, May 20th at approximately 11:15 am, immediately following the conclusion of the 10:00 am worship service. One of the important items of business will be the election of church leaders. Members will also be receiving a letter by mail, including a copy of the officiary and proxy information, if you are unable to attend. Although only members of the church are eligible to vote, we welcome all congregants to attend and hope you will join us for a luncheon to follow in the lounge. We look forward to seeing then. —The Nominating Committee

The Garden Players to Present “Switch It Off” More info ►

Sunday, May 20, 2018, 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM

An original family musical by Betina Hershey & Sunny Knable, “Switch it Off” will be performed on May 19th and 20th by the fabulous Garden Players. You won’t want to miss it.

What happens when adults have chips in their brains? They are smarter, faster, remember more and are very distracted. When that chip stops working because they forgot to Switch It Off, the parents don’t remember that they have kids. Now it’s up to the kids to figure out how to get their parents back to normal. Possible help comes from the hackers who hack knock-knock jokes, the earthy rebels against all technology, and those distracted scientists who dreamed up the chips in the first place.  Moral: Technology is great, in moderation. Use it wisely. And don’t forget to Switch It Off.

The Garden Players Kids will be performing Saturday, May 19th at 4:30 pm and 7:30 pm and Sunday, May 20th at 2 pm and 5 pm at the Community House. Tickets, $15, go on sale April 22nd and may be purchased at the door.  Seats are numbered, so buy in advance if you can, or call to reserve your seats!  Betina Hershey at 917-204-5647 or www.GardenPlayers.com
