Members and friends of The Women’s Guild met recently to begin plans for our upcoming Fall Bazaar to take place Sat., Nov. 4th, 2017 from 10 am to 4 pm. New ideas have emerged that may well include a Friday night “preview,” and selling that runs over into Sunday. Details will follow as they are worked out, but we are now accepting donations of women ‘s clothing, jewelry, accessories, and home goods in good condition. As the time draws near, we are also hoping to have some fresh baked goods donated by anyone interested in coming forward with tasty cakes, pies, brownies or cookies from their own personal kitchens. You may drop off your donations on Sundays by placing them at the door of the Women’s Guild Office across from the Sunday School Coordinator’s Office in the Parish House. If you are interested in being a part of this wonderful opportunity for friendly, fun fellowship, all while benefiting our church’s operations and programs, please see Glenda Maurer, Bette Sheets, Anne Seeler, Karen Chun, or Pamela Knox.

Our church will hold its annual Fall Bazaar this year beginning Fri., Nov. 3rd, for a preview wine and cheese “1st Dibs” sale from 6 pm to 9 pm in the Parish House and Music Room. This will allow extra selling time of our wares (after having spent days setting everything up). There will be a $10 admission fee Friday evening only. The sale will continue Sat., Nov. 4th, 10 am to 4 pm and then again Sunday afternoon 12 pm to 3 pm. In addition to Anne Seeler’s jewelry and gifts, Bette Sheets’ home décor and Glenda Maurer’s ladies boutique, Marti Clark is arranging a table of specially hand sewn treasures. A table of freshly baked goods is also planned. If you would like to help out in any way, please contact the above-named church members. Any items you wish to donate (clean and in good repair) should be brought to the church and placed at the door of the Women’s Guild Office opposite the Lounge. This is truly our church’s most fun and exciting event of the year, and you won’t want to miss it.
